It's been hard working on this. I've been pushing myself like no else for these last few weeks, and seriously, i'm exhausted. Not that I don't want to work on this, I do, it's just that my body's gotten sick. I've got terrible allergies to pretty much everything outside, so when the world is blooming, I just feel like death. Like it's asking for hibernation or something. I'm fighting it off with the Vitamins, but a cold or flu might overtake my poor, anemic body.

God, it's absolutely gorgeous outside...and it's only 53 degrees but my god, it's so nice.:D

Next Cheapie done for my good friend Blue- Uncia on DA. Her characters are always a blast to draw.


Worked on that for a few hours, then spent the rest of the time until 5 pm was this commission, hoping to finish it in the next few days.


I also believe I'm going to quit my job for good. Even if things are going to be bad like this, if they're going to be difficult, in even my worse times, it's still better then working at that shithole. That alone should be conviction enough. Not to mention that there's a real satisfaction when your advertising pays off. It's kinda like the thrill of the hunt sort of thing.

More leviathan work- this sucker's going to take a long time, but it is fun. I'm starting to really like this medium, it's watercolor and gouache on panel that's been gessoed and absorbant ground'ed. The ground was applied thick, so there's a crapload of texture to it.

Now time to spend the rest of my night working on my Trill commission. :D
